Subbalakshmi Samsara To Yaare Nee Mohini: 3 Kannada Shows That Are Based On Love Triangles

Who doesn’t love a good love triangle, right? Any show’s success is based on their unique selling point. Zee Kannada has successfully managed this factor with its prime time shows, trying to keep each serial different from the other. For example, three of the prominent shows; Kamali, Subbalakshmi Samsara and Yaare Nee Mohini have the same concept of a love triangle in them, but on different story lines.

Similarly, all shows that appear on prime time have unique concepts based on the requirement of the viewers. Today, let’s look at these three shows and how they are different, shall we?

1. Kamali

The show is primarily based on the protagonist, Kamali, who hails from a village and has come to the big city to pursue her education. She goes on to get an entry in the most prestigious college of the city, with a few obstacles of course. Enter her love interest, Rishi, Kamali’s teacher. However, her classmate Anika Mahajan, the grand-daughter of the owner of the college, can’t bear to see Rishi with anyone as she is head-over-heels for him. Her obsession with him leads her to hate Kamali. A creative love-triangle, I must say.

2. Subbalakshmi Samsara

A unique show that focuses on the married life of Subbalakshmi. Her smooth family life is interrupted when she finds her husband cheating on her with his personal secretary, Shanaya. This love triangle is intense because of the complications that can disrupt a happy married life because of silly infatuations. What Subbalakshmi does to try and win her husband’s heart again, forms the rest of the story.

3. Yaare Nee Mohini

Muttu, one of the most influential men in his town, is faced with a dilemma when his wife Chitra passes away before her time. Belli, who has been in love with Muttu since her childhood, has no qualms about converting her love in reality because of Maya, his betrothed! Upon learning about Belli’s feelings for him, Maya goes out of her way to eliminate the threat. This is mainly because of how well Belli knows and takes care of the man she loves, without any expectations. The rest is history!
