Yesteryday, the whole country stood in their balconies to show solidarity and appreciate the efforts made by medical professionals, janitors, and anyone who is helping the country battle the Coronavirus. This move was suggested by the Prime Minister in his speech last Friday. Two days later, the nation responded with loud claps and banging their plates in a clamour that was heard all over the country. However, in some places people defeated the purpose of the Janata curfew to gather in large numbers and clap together. Here’s how some of our favourite celebrities from Zee TV shows and ZEE5 original series and films responded to the Janata Curfew:

Shraddha Aryaย who plays the role of a doctor in Kundali Bhagya posted a story, saying she was surprised at how quiet her neighbourhood had become that day. She then posted a video of herself banging a plate and clapping with her friend.
