Shraddha Arya, Arjun Bijalni And Other Celebs Who Observed Janta Curfew With Bells & Claps
Yesteryday, the whole country stood in their balconies to show solidarity and appreciate the efforts made by medical professionals, janitors, and anyone who is helping the country battle the Coronavirus. This move was suggested by the Prime Minister in his speech last Friday. Two days later, the nation responded with loud claps and banging their plates in a clamour that was heard all over the country. However, in some places people defeated the purpose of the Janata curfew to gather in large numbers and clap together. Here’s how some of our favourite celebrities from Zee TV shows and ZEE5 original series and films responded to the Janata Curfew:

Shraddha Arya who plays the role of a doctor in Kundali Bhagya posted a story, saying she was surprised at how quiet her neighbourhood had become that day. She then posted a video of herself banging a plate and clapping with her friend.
Abhishek Kapur, her co-star on the show, shared a clip of him beating the drum with his friend Zain Imam, who will also be seen in the ZEE5 Original series Poison 2.
Karisma Kapoor, who starred in the new series Mentalhood on ZEE5, shared a post clapping her hands and appreciating the good work done by people who are helping us manage this global health crisis.
Her co-star, Sandhya Mridul, was not feeling so positive though. She shared a story asking the people to show better judgement and ‘let the birds sing’.
Krishna Kaul who plays the role of Ranbir in Kumkum Bhagya, shared a photo of himself on the terrace with his family. While his father blew a conch, Krishna was seen ringing a bell.
Vivek Dahiya,who was seen battling terrorists in State of Seige: 26/11, saluted the medical professionals who are battling the threat of Coronavirus behind the scenes. He posted a clip of himseld clapping with wife Divyanka Tripathi on their balcony.
Arjun Bijlani, who co-stars with Vivek Dahiya in the State of Seige: 26/11, asked his son to spread the message to stay at home on Sunday, but his son messed it up with hilarious results. He then posted a longer video of him clapping with his family from their balcony.
Kunal Kemmu, who will soon reprise his role the hit ZEE5 series Abhay, first clicked a photo of all the roads around his house looking empty. He then shared videos in his stories applauding the heroes.
Supriya Shukla, seen in both Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya, shared some sane and motherly advice on how to behave during Coronavirus while thanking the people who are fighting this disease every day.

At the end of everything, Aahana Kumra was shocked to see some of the responses to the Janata Curfew. The Bombers, Rangbaaz, and Yours Truly star posted some surprising videos of people gathering in large numbers to beat plates and defeating the purpose of the curfew.
Meanwhile, Naghma Rizwan from It Happened in Calcutta continued with her updates during the quarantine. While she earlier practiced her hobby of painting, by the eighth day, she had become an amateur meme artist.
