Shivraj Singh Chouhan Finally Becomes Madhya Pradesh CM After 72 Days
Madhya Pradesh’s newly elected CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan expands his cabinet by allowing 10 seats to the ministers of Jyotiraditya Scindia.
After a wait of nearly 72 days, Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as Chief Minister for a record fourth term on March 23 this year, after Kamal Nath resigned from the top post following a rebellion by nearly two dozen MLAs of the Congress. The oath ceremony took place today at 11 am in Raj Bhavan, Madhya Pradesh. After this oath ceremony, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he will be expanding his cabinet. According to the reports, 10 seats will be allotted to the ministers of Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s cabinet will surely replace some old ministers with fresh faces. But still one of the greatest challenges for this newly formed cabinet is to manage the ministers who have been disheartened after being deprived of cabinet posts. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is already playing his moves to console the ministers who were not allotted any seats in his cabinet as these ministers will play a crucial role in the upcoming elections.
