Shakti Kapoor Shares Message For Fans On Day Of Bhoomi Pujan

Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor has gotten in on the celebrations that have gripped the nation on the day of the Ram Temple bhoomi pujan. In an IGTV video, the veteran actor sang a song praising Lord Ram while dressed in a saffron robe. He said, “I congratulate everyone. Today is a great day. Hearty wishes to everyone about the (Ram) Temple.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, performed the bhoomi pujan at the holy site in Ayodhya.

Along with Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath and Governor, Anadiben Patel were also present at the ceremony. Comparing the day to August 15, the Prime Minister called it a “Golden Day.” After the bhoomi pujan, he said, that the site at Ayodhya finally “breaks free of the cycle of breaking and getting built again.” The Supreme Court had cleared the way for the temple to be built on the disputed site in November last year.
