Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 14 March 2020 Written Update: Golden Legends With Pyarelalji!

This weekend on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is themed the Golden Legends with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma as a special guest. On tonight’s episode, the Sa Re Ga Ma contestants sang some of the classic songs from Bollywood through the ages composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Catch the mix of solo and duets along with interesting anecdotes by Pyarelalji, one part of the legendary music duo, here.

The first performance was by Ananya Sharma who started her solo performance with the song Bindiya Chamkegi. She then sang the song Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar and scored a 99/100 from the grand jury. Pyarelalji told of an interesting incident which made Laxmikant add the funny ‘Aiyaa‘ in the song Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar.

Next up was Madhav Arora, who showed how big a fan he is of Mohammad Rafi with the two songs in his solo performance – Yeh Reshmi Zulfien and Dard-e-Dil. He scored a perfect 100 from the grand jury and got an insight into Mohammad Rafi’s personal life from Pyarelalji.  This was followed by duet performance from  Saksham Sonwane and Sai Joshi who gave a playful performance with their songs Na Maangu Sona Chandi and Jhoot Bole Kauwa Kaate and took a perfect score of 100.

Ranita Banerjee sang the song Suno Sajna, which gave the judges goosebumps, and made them get up and hug Ranita for her performance. While the grand jury gave her a complete 100, Pyarelalji gave her tips on how to take her singing to an even higher level. Satish Kumar  and Gurkeerat Singh performed a duet, Yamla Pagla Deewana, which got everyone dancing including the judges, jury, performers, and audiences, and took home a 100 rating for their performance.

Kumar Sanu said that he wanted to be in the room when Pyarelalji recorded the song ‘Ek Haseena Thi, Ek Deewana Tha’ from Karz. He asked if Prayelalji would conduct the orchestra while he performed to the song with Alka Yagnik. Pyarelalji obliged and conducted a special performance of the song.
