If you haven’t watched Raaga yet, bookmark it for this weekend. For those of you who have watched the film, here are seven best scenes that are worth a second watch.
1. Humility is what Mithra is all about
The ward boy gets upset with Mithra, who ignored his greeting but speaks very nicely to the doctor at the hospital. Tabla Nani, who plays the ward boy’s role, is stunned at the explanation Mithra gives.
2. Mithra convinces an irresponsible husband
Mithra contacts the man on the phone, after seeing his supposed fiancé walk away distraught. The way he convinces the unknown man to fix things with his partner is amazing. It might inspire you or someone around you who has the same problem as the lady in the scene.
3. The chalk and cheese effect
This is one of the most interesting scenes; when Mithra and Anu cross paths. While Anu tries to threaten everyone that she will take her own life, Mithra finds something amusing in the whole scenario. How he saves Anu’s life is what is most commendable about this scene.
4. Mithra coaxing the neighbour
Mithra comes to the aid of one of his neighbours, who is distraught by her husband’s misbehaviour and infidelity. He coaxes her into calming down and thinking of this from another angle. The lady appreciates Mithra for coming to her aid even though they weren’t related in any manner.
5. After Anu gets her vision
Upon having a successful operation, Anu becomes adamant about seeing Mithra before she lays her eyes on anyone else. The scene is nerve-wracking as she denies seeing her own father’s face and insists that Mithra’s face be the first, she sees. What happens afterwards? Well, you must go see for yourself.
6. The comparison
This scene pricks the emotional side of anyone who realises the petty-thinking that runs in the society. Anu’s father brings Mithra on the stage alongside her prospective groom and compares both them. The humiliation is seen on Mithra’s face and the anger inside Anu is completely worth the watch.
7. The finale
Towards the end of the movie, Anu goes to find Mithra with Appaji but fails to find him. What follows will shock you. Get ready with your tissue boxes, because this one is an emotional rollercoaster ride!
