Ram Temple Trust Asks Devotees To Donate Cash, Not Gold And Silver Bricks
Such donations will lead to complications said trust’s General Secretary, Champat Rai.
Even as preparations for the start of the construction of the Ram temple are in full swing, it has come to light that some people have been sending their donations in the form of gold and silver bricks. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has urged these devotees to donate in cash as that would not lead to any complications. The temple needs cash for its construction, he said in a video released by the trust.
Champat Rai today, also confirmed that there will be no time capsule involved in the construction of the Ram temple. Regarding the gold and silver donations, he said, “Some people have been talking about donating gold. Who will check its authenticity? Who will measure it? Today, the only thing that’s needed for the construction of the temple is cash, not silver. This is why I urge all those devotees who are donating silver to instead send the equivalent cash to the bank account of the trust.”
