On Thursday, September 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the third leadership summit of US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF) via video conference. The week-long summit was titled “US-India Week: Navigating New Challenges”. PM Modi spoke on India-US trade relations, investment opportunities in India, challenges, and potential business opportunities in the technical and health sectors of India. Several global economies, especially India’s rivals on the global map, were eager to hear PM Modi’s views on the India-US relationship.

Previously, on August 31, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar participated in the discussion. On September 1, Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal addressed the summit. According to news reports, the purpose of this summit is to bring business and governments together and create potential opportunities that will have the power to change the lives of citizens in both countries.
