Piriyatha Varam Vendum: Will Rishi And Madhumita’s Engagement Get Called Off?

You might have seen love stories on Tamil TV in the past, but Piriyatha Varam Vendum promises to be different. Starring Vimal Venkatesan, Madhumita, Priyanka and Shailaja Priya, Piriyatha Varam Vendum unfolds a story set against the backdrop of two eras intertwined by a common thread. The show narrates the love saga of a Prince and a village belle that remained incomplete due to their untimely death. The story continues after four centuries in a new set up but similar circumstances.

The makers have shared a new promo that shows Rishi and Madhumita gearing up for their engagement. But elsewhere, something happens, and it stops the engagement ceremony from taking place. Durga and not Madhumita is destined to get married to Rishi because they have to complete their love story that ended abruptly in their previous birth.

Piriyatha Varam Vendum has four main characters – Rishi / Maadhevan, Durga / Amaravathi, Madhumita / Mithrasenai and Chitra Devi / Arinayagi. The narrative will move back and forth in time to unfold incidents of the long past and reveal how it is connected to the present.
