While there are many definitions for it, but a few things that stay common like the feeling of caring, understanding and accepting the individual as they are. We all enjoy hearing love stories from our friends and families but when it comes to being a part of one, it gets really tough.

Today we thought of sharing with you the love story of Paramavatar Shri Krishna fame Ssudeep Sahir with wife Anantica Sahir. The actor is popular for playing the role of Lord Krishna in the mythological show. Without wasting much time, let’s get started.

How Ssudeep And Anantica Met

Back in 2002-03, Ssudeep was auditioning for an advertisement in Mumbai and he used to go to a place called ‘Just Around The Corner’ for having lunch. There he was introduced to Anantica through one of their common friends. Both of them were so engrossed while talking to each other that they didn’t realise that the common friend had already left.

 

The Couple Went With The Flow

They kept talking for an hour and also shared numbers. Both of them knew that there was something special and decided to go with the flow. Next day they started talking on the phone at night from 9 pm till 5 am in the morning.

 

It’s A Match!

Anantica shared and interesting memory of their friendship days saying “I remember, once we had gone clubbing with our individual group of friends. We happened to meet each other just outside the club. I and Ssudeep kept talking in the parking lot, while all other friends went inside and had a fun night. Even when they came out, we were standing right there, talking.”

“Yeah, from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. we were standing in the parking lot, aur hum bas gappe maarte rahe. From then on, we got an idea that we should hang out more often and we should meet regularly. Once we started meeting a lot, we realised that this is perfect” Ssudeep added.

 

The Assumption

She never had an official proposal but they knew deep down that they were made for each other.
Ssudeep shared how their relationship changed after an incident. “The best thing was that I never proposed to her. While dropping her home one day, I just told her, ‘theek hai na’. When she asked what that meant, I just said ‘bas theek hai’ and dropped her. After that, I told her friend that we were seeing each other.”

The friend obviously called Anantica and asked her about it. She was shocked and she immediately called Ssudeep to asked him why did he say that they were seeing each other. The latter replied that he just assumed that. And this is how they started dating each other.

 

Ssudeep And Anantica Had Long Distance Relationship

The hardest part was when Anantica got into the University of Southampton and she had to go out for further studies. When Ssudeep asked Anantica about their future, she replied “Dekhenge”. Little did they knew that the distance will only bring them closer. In those days there were no Skype or any other medium to talk to Anantica so Ssudeep use to call her on the phone and that year he had paid a bill of 2 lacs that included international call charges.

When Anantica returned, both of them were sure to spend the rest of their life with each other and decided to tell their parents about their relationship. Fortunately, both the parents had no problem and everything went smooth.

Too Late To Say No!

Anantica said about the assumptions part that “Just like our relationship started with an assumption on Ssudeep’s part, our marriage happened without a proposal too! Bas assumption pe ho gaya!” Ssudeep added that he had proposed her on his knees but the latter laughed. She then told us that “It was the funniest proposal ever. Firstly, it happened after our roka. I did not even have a choice to say ‘no’. Humari shaadi ke card chhap rahe the.”

 

Ssdeep Sahir Shares A Different Level Of Compatibility With His Wife

They got married on April 29, 2006. Many of his friends and relatives asked Ssudeep if he was well settled to get married. And he used to say “I was doing some shows, ads, etc. I would not say I was well-settled, but I was doing fine.” Anantica had an interesting take on this, “The decision to get married was not based on settled or not settled. There is a different level of compatibility between us. We can read each other’s minds really well.”

The couple was blessed with a baby boy on 2nd August 2010. They named him Arwaan which means a brave Persian.

After 13 years of marriage, the couple shares the same understanding with each other and loves being together. Upon asking the secret of their successful marriage they said, “Even after so many years of marriage, we love spending time with each other. We love chilling together, watching movies, etc. We cannot even think about going out without each other. The concept of going out alone is beyond our understanding. We do not need anyone else, that’s the thing.”

The couple also has the same tattoo that says ‘Always.’
