If you’re looking to make something fun that is also new, then here are two recipes that you can try out at home.
Paneer Mushroom Fry
Heat oil in a large vessel on medium flame and add sesame seeds in the pan till they turn brown. Add garlic and fry for a few seconds. Do not allow the garlic to turn brown. Add the spring onion and fry for a minute. Then, take the desired amount of mushrooms, bell peppers and salt and fry it for 5-8 minutes till most of the water has evaporated. Add the pepper powder, chilli flakes and soya sauce and fry it for 2 more minutes. Add paneer cubes and mix the paneer along with the vegetables. Remove from heat and serve hot with rice or noodles or you can even eat it as a side dish!
Boil chopped pineapple with water for 10 minutes. Then, prepare the masala by dry roasting sesame seeds and keep aside. Once that is done, roast urad dal, methi, dried red chilli and curry leaves with one spoon of oil. Transfer this mix to the blender and add coconut and water. Blend this into a smooth paste and keep it aside. Now, add in tamarind juice, jaggery, turmeric and salt and cover it after simmering for 15 minutes. Now add the mix in the prepared masala paste and add the required amount of water. Keep adding the water you need. Simmer the same for another 10 minutes but keep stirring it occasionally. Boil till the colour of menaskai turns slightly blackish. Finally, serve pineapple gojju with hot rice.
