Now Nithyananda Sets Up His Own Reserve Bank In Kailasa
After apparently establishing his own country, the self-styled guru has founded his own bank and currency
Absconding self-styled Godman Nithyananda announced the establishment of his own Reserve Bank of Kailasa in a self-made video that he released yesterday. The 42-year-old, accused of rape, set up the Republic of Kailasa on the Ecuador coast, after he fled from India late last year to avoid the law.
According to him, the bank is a legitimate entity, details of which he will reveal on August 22 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Stating that all functions of his bank are legal, he said that his strategy includes usage of internal currency and external currency exchange. He also added that he is talking to other countries to enable his bank to function globally to facilitate donations from his followers across the world.
Nithyananda calls Kailasa a nation without borders, created by dispossessed Hindus. The country also has its own national flag, national emblem and national bird, animal and tree.
Born as A. Rajasekaran, the self-proclaimed religious leader has built temples and ashrams for his followers in many countries.
