Naga Chaitany and Samantha

With the success of Majili and Oh Baby, actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni established themselves as the aces of Tollywood. Now, as the real-life couple rejoices in their career highs, they have decided to take a leap ahead. Recently, the couple head a film narration from a debutante director and have given a nod to produce it. More importantly, the couple is planning on setting up their own production house, instead of joining the Annapurna clan. As they go ahead, here are more such actors who decided to venture out with their own productions.

Once again, from the Akkineni family, we have the 60-year-young and dashing Nagarjuna. While acting was a conscious choice that young Nagarjuna took, it was Automobile Engineering that drove his passion early on. A few years earlier, Nagarjuna become the co-owner of Annapurna Studious which was founded by his late father and legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwar Rao. The studio is named after the actor’s late mother.

Vishnu Manchu

Next up, we have the multi-faceted Vishnu Manchu. Being the elder son of Mohan Babu, one knows that the pressures are high and the morals are higher. Vishnu’s acting career saw many highs, but off late, there hasn’t been something that matches his capabilities. So, he ventured out to set up his own production house named 24 Frames Factory and also made his debut into the digital platform with ZEE5 Original Chadarangam.

Ram Charan

With Chiranjeevi’s biggest comeback film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Ram Charan established himself as an accountable producer. It is known fact now that he is the one to establish the Konidela Production Company. While we’re excited to see him as an actor in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, we’re more excited to see what he brings to the table as a producer.

Once Nani was offered a film by an ambitious debutante, but given the circumstances, Nani failed to make any promise. But the actor knew he had to do something, to play his part in contributing to the story. And that’s how Wall Poster Cinema came into being. From D for Dopido to Awe and now, HIT, Nani has been really squeezing out good stories for us.

Vijay Devarakonda

Last and one of the most recent entrant onto this list is Vijay Deverakonda. After having delivered hits like Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, Vijay announced his production house named King Of The Hill. Recently, he also released his first film named Meeku Mathrame Chepta with an interesting social media video. In this film, he brought together his friend including Tharun Bhaskar.

Let us know about the names that we missed out, in the comments section below. Don’t forget to watch an amazing film during the self-quarantine phase to avoid Coronavirus in the comfort of your house on ZEE5.
