Muddha Mandaram Weekly Update: Soundarya Comes In Front Of Akhilandeswari
In the Telugu TV show Muddha Mandaram, Abhi (played by Pavan Sae) and Surya were kicked out of their garage, which had become their house. Soundarya (played by Thanuja Gowda) and Chandrika help them move into an orphanage that they closely worked with. Later, Abhi becomes Soundarya’s pillar of strength when her parents get arrested for a theft that they did not commit. Here’s what happened in the week that started July 22.
Watch the week in short here:
At night, Krish returns home in a drunken state and hits and kills a man with his car. He escapes in the fear of being caught. But Soundarya and Chandrika had witnessed this incident.
The girls move close to the man’s body and try to gauge his condition. With some help from others, they take him to the hospital. Soundarya decides to teach the drunken driver a lesson.
Krish returns home, Akhilandeswari (played by Haritha) sees his condition and warns him to stay in his limits and never do something that would give the Ghattammaneni family a bad reputation.
Surya sees Abhi deep in thoughts and asks him about it. Abhi says the next morning is the Bonala Pandaga and he is scared that Bhavani and Chaitra will try to hurt Soundarya once again.
The next morning, in the temple, the priest tells Akhilandeswari to get started with the pooja so that other women and families can proceed with the day too. Akhilandeswari does as said, she prays to the goddess to bring her family members (Gani) close to her.
The priest asks Akhilandeswari to select one of the many bonalu kept there as the winner of their small competition. And surprisingly, Akhilandeswari picks Soundarya’s Bonam. This makes her even happier.
Sometime later, as they start the rituals, Soundarya stands behind Akhilandeswari. Although they want to speak to each other, Akhilandeswari cannot turn back.
During their pradakshina, Bhavani has her henchwomen fielded across the temple whose only motive is to ruin the day for Soundarya and corrupt her vratam or her face, whichever is easier.
In the meantime, Abhi and Surya come across two more little children who beg on the streets but refuse to take food for the money. Abhi understands the backdrop and offers them a better life at the orphanage and takes them with him.
Post the pooja, Gani stands behind in the crowd with Soundarya so that Akhilandeswari does not see his daughter. But when Akhilandeswari is about to step on lit camphor, Soundarya rushes through the crowd and saves her.
Akhilandeswari looks at Soundarya and is overwhelmed to see Parvathi once again. Gani is tensed to know what lies ahead and takes the first opportunity he gets to escape from the temple.
They reach home, pick up their packed bags and decide to leave the house and the city. Soundarya tries to debate and stay in the house. But Gani and Sarsu wouldn’t have it anymore.
Chandrika runs towards Surya to tell him about this incident, who in turn tells Abhi about the situation. They meet Gani and Sarsu and try to stop them. But in vain. When Abhi talks to Gani and tells him to value what they have, they decide to stay back.
Surya helps them settle in a new house. And that’s when Gani sees Abhi from afar. He says ‘Pedda babu’ but Sarsu tells him that it’s Abhi, the boy who had come home.
Once again, Gani panics and tells everyone that they need to leave the city at the earliest. For the time being, Abhi agrees to help them settle in Vizag.
