Muddha Mandaram Weekly Update: Abhinandan Steals Money From Ghattammaneni Family Again
The Telugu TV show Muddha Mandaram revolves around the Ghattammaneni family, Abhinandan (played by Pavan Sae) and Soundarya (Thanuja Gowda), the alleged reincarnations of Deva and Parvathi, who passed away in a car accident. Unlike Deva and Parvathi, the Ghattammaneni couple who were married to each other, Abhi and Soundarya are not in a relationship yet. However, they are always on the lookout for excuses to fight with each other. In the week starting April 29, 2019, a lot happened in Muddha Mandaram. Want to know what all? Read on.
The week starts with Soundarya’s parents arguing about her future. Her father, Gani, suggests that they should allow their daughter to do whatever she wants to. Her mother Sarsu though, is firm on getting Soundarya to quit studying and get her used to doing household chores instead.
Soundarya’s mother yells at her when she brings something else instead of the dough for dosas. When Soundarya tries to defend herself, Sarsu compares her to their next-door neighbour. Soundarya loses her calm and compares her mother to Jayalalitha, making her father laugh out loud.
Meanwhile in the Ghattammaneni house, Akhilandeswari (played by Haritha) gets emotional while watching a random video of a sick child on the internet. Looking at the helpless mother and the physically weak daughter, Akhilandeswari decides to donate money for the baby’s operation. She instructs Bhavani to do the task. But Bhavani mentions that such videos are nothing but scams.
Previously, Akhilandeswari had caught Chaitra and Krish returning home past 1 am, but had decided to say nothing. The next morning when Bhavani lies about them going for combined studies, Akhilandeswari blasts everyone. She says that everyone has been lying to her. That’s when she declares that Chaitra and Krish will not be given any credit or debit cards from now on. And they will have to ask for their pocket money from Akhilandeswari herself.
Abhinandan manages to crack into Krish’s cellphone and calls Bhavani. He informs her that the Ghattammaneni grandkids, Krish and Chaitra have been kidnapped and demands for a ransom of Rs. 1 crore. Bhavani tells Akhilandeswari about the phone call and heads to the bank immediately. On her way back, a random woman keeps Bhavani engaged while Abhinandan steals the money from the car.
Krish and Chaitra return home safely and everyone is relieved to see them safe and sound. That’s when Krishna reveals that someone had tried to scare and loot them. He also informs that they were in college and were never kidnapped in the first place!
On his way back from the bank, Abhi is stopped by Soundarya and the two start fighting again. She demands the earring that Abhi had stolen. And to get done with it, Abhi takes away her cycle keys, too. Soundarya and her friend stop by a garage to get the cycle fixed. Little do they know that the garage belonged to Abhi. They start fighting again and after some heated arguments, Soundarya gets her cycle keys and her tiffin carriage. She leaves with the stolen stuff with her friend.
At home, Soundarya asks Chandrika to hold the pillow and sticks a stick-figured Abhi’s drawing on it. She beats the pillow until her anger has cooled down. Later, she sits down to write another love-letter for Chandrika’s lover on her behalf. But Abhi calls and they start fighting on the call again.
