Staying indoors is a great way to make yourself best friends with the couch. And that’s also the best way to unfriend your body. It’s a known fact that our bodies still need some rigourous activity to keep it going – like any engine needs acceleration. With the passage of time and change in lifestyle, we have convinced ourselves that we’re better at the desk than a farm. And that my friend is how you cheat yourself. Thankfully, Sonal Chauhan has a great way to kick start a new habit.

Watch her with Ram and Rakul in Pandaga Chesko here:

The nation-wide lockdown has put us all indoors and our celebrities are using the power of their reach to make a change. Sonal has been sharing her experiments and endeavours through social media. From cooking and baking to sketching, Sonal is encouraging people to do something that they hadn’t tried or always wanted to do. Here she is telling people to try yoga. Not only will it give you some flexibility. But it will also give you a much-needed boost of positivity.

“Let’s establish peace within! Let’s use this time positively and keep ourselves peaceful. Tell me what you like to do during your yoga session with me”. We all know that motivation is a hard thing to find within ourselves when comfort is all around. That’s why Sonal has been sharing photos and conducting live session with her fans. She believes, at least during that time, she would be able to get people off the couch.

She also goes on to talk about other positions of yoga in detail. Read the caption below. We hope this gives you a good reason to get up, wear your favourite gym wear and breathe in all the radiance.

🌸Ustrasana🌸 The Yoga Camel ⁣ ⁣ #Ushtrasana (Sanskrit: उष्ट्रासन) is a backward bend.⁣ ⁣ Ustrasana is a beautiful heart opener and an intensive yoga exercise in the field of backbends. It stretches the thoracic spine, strengthens the leg, buttock and hip muscles. The pelvic floor and central muscles are strengthened. The entire front of the body is stretched. By placing the head back, the Vishuddha chakra (neck chakra) is activated. So you also stretch your front of the neck, which exerts a pull on the thyroid. With a deep and even breath you widen the heart and lung space⁣. Thank you @anshukayoga for being the best teacher ever ✨🧘‍♀️ ⁣ 📸 @himanichauhan #backbend #heartopener #thyroidgland #vishuddhachakra #sonalchauhan #anshukayoga #yoga #morning #morningmotivation #love #photography #photooftheday #positivevibes #magic #miracle #faith
