Massive Fire Breaks Out At Chemical Factory In Agra; No Casualties Reported
The fire is so massive that it can be seen from a few kilometres away. However, no casualties have been reported.
On Monday, September 7, a disastrous fire broke out at a chemical factory in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The entire area was covered with thick dark smoke. According to the news reports, the fire fighting teams are trying to douse the massive fire which has engulfed the entire chemical factory. The fire is so massive that it can be seen from a few kilometres away. Sources confirmed that as of now no casualties or injuries have been reported. Chief Fire Officer BP Tripathi said that since the chemical factory where the fire broke out is near the Sikandara Sabji Mandi, it has caused panic among the locals. However, the fire fighting teams are trying their best to bring the situation under control.
Locals said that the fire is truly monstrous and the thick black smoke is causing trouble in breathing. If the situation does not get under control, they may evacuate the area for the time being.
