Nayanthara, Yogi Babu and Saranya Ponvannan starrer Kolamavu Kokila is a black comedy crime film, written and helmed by debutant Nelson Dilipkumar. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film revolves around the life of a woman named Kokila (played by Nayanathara), who is a drug peddler and the effects that her profession brings to her personal life. It would be interesting to see how Kokila and her family manage to escape from this illegal business? Dora, a 2017 thriller-horror film, revolves around a possessed car and a lady. Helmed by Dass Ramasamy, the film is a story about a Pavalakkodi, a mild-mannered woman, who purchases a vintage car with her father. However, they soon discover that the car is possessed by the spirit of a dog called Dora. As Dora’s previous owner was killed by three goons, together they avenge her death. Helmed by Gopi Nainar, Aramm is a socio-political drama and is undoubtedly one of the best films of 2017. Bankrolled by KJR Studios, the film, the film is based on real-life instances. It’s a story about a district collector, who faces a huge challenge when a young village girl falls into a deep borewell and the media highlights her rescue efforts. Aramm features Nayanthara in the lead role and Ramachandran Durairaj and Sunu Lakshmi in supporting roles.

On the personal front, the actress is in a relationship with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. The two met each other on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015 and hit it off instantly. Nayanthara and Vignesh are one of the strongest couples in Kollywood. They never fail to give us all couple goals and their loved-up pictures on social media are sure to make one long for love.

On the professional front, Nayanthara, who made her debut with Sarathkumar-starrer Ayya in 2005, was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Darbar.
