Karauli Murder Case: CB-CID Team Records Statements Of Priest’s Family Members

The CB-CID team has visited the crime scene in Rajasthan’s Karauli where a temple priest died after allegedly being burnt alive over a land dispute.

The CB-CID team investigated the village Jankar in the priestly murder case of Karauli in Rajasthan. The team is investigating the crime scene. The FSL team also stood together. The Crime Branch-Crime Inspection Department (CB-CID) team reached the village of Bukna and inspected the spot. The team has visited the crime scene in Rajasthan’s Karauli where a temple priest died after allegedly being burnt alive over a land dispute. The CB-CID team investigated the crime scene with the help of the forensic team. The investigating team will now record the statements of the family members and witnesses.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday (October 11) directed officials to get the killing of a temple priest in Karauli district probed by the CB-CID. He also condemned the BJP’s “attempt to give a communal colour’ to a land dispute between two families, which led to the death of the priest. “It is condemnable that the BJP gave a communal colour to the tragic incident between the Meena and Vaishnav communities of a land dispute case between two families in Bukna village of Sapotara.
