Kangana Ranaut To Be Provided Y+ Security By MHA
This move comes after the verbal duel between her and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut heated up.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has said Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be provided Y+ security ahead of her visit to Mumbai. This comes amidst a verbal duel between her and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, which has been unfolding on Twitter since the past few days. It had started when the actress had said that being in Mumbai felt like being in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. A row had erupted after that, with celebs from both the Hindi and Marathi film industries criticising her.
Under the Y+ security detail that is being provided to Ranaut ahead of her Mumbai visit on September 9, she will have ten to eleven armed commandoes guarding her in three shifts. Moreover, two or three Personnel Security Officers (PSOs) will also be accompanying her round the clock, with one security personnel deployed at her residence. Following this news, she wrote on Twitter, “This proves that a patriot’s voice cannot be crushed by fascists. I am grateful to Amit Shah, if he wanted, he could have advised me to go to Mumbai after a few days but he respected a daughter of India, protected her pride and self-respect. Jai Hind.”
