The ZEE5 original Marathi series features Mahesh Manjrekar, Shubhankar Tawade and Neha Khan among others in lead roles. The series tells the story of a photographer- Vicky- who lands himself in a soup after experiencing some tragic events. The ZEE5 original is all set to release on September 24, and we give you 5 reasons as to why you should watch this thrilling series.

1. A comedy of errors 

The series’ story is unique as it tells a tragic tale, with a comic twist. Vicky lands in trouble when certain circumstances lead him into getting involved with a mafia gang. The comedy track of the show is evident from the teaser above. Be ready to fall of your seats as Vicky entertains you with his crazy antics!

2. The quirky characters 

Aside from Vicky, another character that you can look forward to in the series is that of Mahesh Manjrekar. The famous actor and filmmaker, plays an eccentric don here. Mahesh’s quirky sense of dressing teamed with one liners, will surely keep you entertained and how.

3. Bold and beautiful 

Marathi directors are experimenting with bold content and breaking the stigma that is attached to nudity and love making scenes in Marathi cinema. We saw the same happening in Sex, Drugs & Theatre, and now Kaalde Dhande gets added to the list. The series contains tons of bold scenes, that are a reminder of how web content is becoming more inclusive and progressive.
