In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Arya advises Anu about how she should respect her parents’ opinion, instead of being disappointed. He also says that parents always want their children to do well in life and always have a reason behind their decisions. Pushpa tells the police that she has been arrested for the wrong reasons and adds that all that she asked for was for the garbage to be cleaned. The police tell her to keep quiet but Pushpa does not stop expressing her grief over the situation.

In this episode, Anu and Subbu are outside the jail, trying to console Pushpa. The police tell them not to waste time in doing so. The officers add that instead, they should find a lawyer to relieve her from prison. As they decide to call a lawyer, Jhende and Arya reach the station. Jhende begins to talk to the police head at the station while Arya stands outside. Pushpa begins to cry as she sees Jhende and tells him that she hasn’t done anything wrong.

Jhende begins to talk to the police head, who looks a little scared. The man tells him that the area manager has filed an FIR and nothing can be done to relieve her. He also says that his higher authority will question him if he allows Pushpa to go. Jhende tells him that he can give the same explanation to Arya, who is outside the station. The police head follows Jhende outside and sees Arya. The moment he sees him, he asks a constable to release Pushpa and apologises to Arya and Jhende.

At home, Pushpa’s neighbours wait for her to arrive. Arya notices the garbage that has been accumulated in and around their area, and the unbearable stench that it is causing. He talks to the residents of that area and they all come to the conclusion of segregating their waste and throwing them in a dustbin, to keep their surroundings clean and live a better life.
