In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali,  Arya tells him that he spotted the sniper as he reached the restaurant and even spotted Jhende pointing a gun at the sniper whereas, at Arya’s house, the Devi came to talk about him. When Sharada asks her about Arya and her future, the latter says that someone as beautiful as a flower will enter his life. Hearing this, Sharada gets excited.

Ramya and Anu are studying for their exam the next day. When Ramya comes back home, Rajini and Raghu begin to tell her as to stay away from Anu and her parents as random people have begun to come to their house. They also tell her that she is a girl and is at that age where men will take every opportunity to take advantage of them. They also badmouth Anu and tell Ramya saying that she is not as innocent as she used to be in her childhood which is why she must stay away from her. Sampath consoles Ramya.

Later that night, Sharada Devi hears the news that her son has come back home. She hugs him and asks him if he is feeling okay. She also asks him if Jalander caused any harm. He tells her not to worry and to go to sleep as it is late in the night. She also tells him that she is calmer because he has Jhende to protect him. Arya also tells her to take care of her health and not to keep thinking about this situation. He also tells her that Jalander has just come out of jail and will have to confront Arya at some point in time. Just then, Arya is handed over the jasmine plant that Anu gifted him. Jhende tells him not to hug the plant and sleep.

The next morning, Arya plants the jasmine sapling while telling Sharada Devi that he will be taking care of this plant with all his life. He takes it and goes into the house.
