In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Anu asks Arya about why he wants to take her for the business trip, when there are so many more experienced employees in the office. He tells her that she has worked very hard in the past and deserves this opportunity to attend the conference. Anu smiles to herself. At the office, Meera is conspiring against Anu, and tells Jhende that Neel serves as a tool to create hurdles in Anu’s professional life. She does not specify her plan of action, but says, that she will find a way to destroy Anu’s life.

In this episode, Arya talks about Neel to Jhende. He admires how he has become so familiar with the employees, in such a short span of time. He also tells him to make all the arrangements for Anu’s passport, so that the two can travel to London. Jhende agrees, and says that he has made the calls that he needed to, in order to procure her passport. Elsewhere, while talking to another employee Soumya, Anu expresses her fear of taking a flight, as she has never done the same, before. Soumya calms her down.

Meera, on the other hand, is confronted by an employee, who asks her about whose rules he must follow—Anu or hers? On asking him why he asked this question, he says that in spite of not finishing her graduation, Anu is getting the opportunity to travel for a conference, when so many seniors deserve the same opportunity. Jhende and Meera have another conversation about Anu. They are unhappy with the fact that Anu is going on an international trip, with such little experience. He also tells her that he will resign from the company. Even though he will arrange for her passport, he will ensure that Anu does not go on that trip with Arya.
