In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Neel drops Anu back home. Anu’s father Subbu, asks her why she didn’t answer her phone. She apologises for her phone being on silent. He thanks Neel repeatedly for dropping Anu back home. Pushpa doesn’t say anything while Subbu says that he knows why she was this late. That night, Ramya and Anu speak about Arya on the terrace. When she looks down, she sees Arya standing near her gate. The two talk.

In this episode, Jhende receives a call from a stranger and asks how a man called Jhalander is getting released from jail. He immediately cancels Arya’s ticket to London and takes him along in his car. They then change cars and ride towards Arya’s house. Arya is completely clueless as to why Jhende is so tense. He asks him about the same. Jhende stops the car and gets out of it. Arya asks him repeatedly about what’s the matter. To this, Jhende says that Jhalander has been released from jail and had planned an attack on him in London. Therefore, Arya cannot be sent to the conference. Jhende also tells him that he will not allow anyone to attack him.

At home, Ramya asks Anu why she was awake at 2 am in the night. She also asks her if she has spoken to Arya since he has left. As Anu begins to talk, she drops her hairbrush from her hand. Ramya says that it is believed if a hairbrush falls from one’s hand, a certain guest will come home. To this, Anu asks if guests will come back from London, too. Just then Anu’s phone rings and she leaves.

There is a man who has been released from jail. When his belongings are returned to him, he clicks a photo of two men with vengeance. This man is revealed as Jhalander, the one who had planned an attack on Arya. Jhende, on the other hand, arranges for more security for Arya’s protection.
