These highly-equipped and advanced aircraft can be a serious game-changer if used in the Leh region.
Recently, questions were raised whether the Rafale aircraft will be deployed in Leh considering the ongoing border tensions. According to the latest news reports, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will induct the Rafale aircraft today, September 10, at the Air Force Station in Ambala, Haryana. Sources also state that the Rafale aircraft will be part of 17 Squadron, the “Golden Arrows”. The first five IAF Rafale aircraft had arrived at Air Force Station in Ambala from France on July 27.
These highly-equipped and advance aircraft can be a serious game-changer if used in the Leh region as they are truly destructive and have immense potential to operate in regions like Ladakh. Moreover, the IAF officials have also confirmed that the pilots have been trained to operate the Rafale jets and if the time comes they can be deployed anywhere.
