After working in a couple of TV shows, Tejashri bagged the lead role in Zee Marathi’s Honar Sun Mi Hya Gharchi. The actress rose to fame with her role as Janhavi in this popular family drama. She played the love interest of Shri and later a typical bahu of a family consisting only of females. Despite being paired opposite popular stars such as Shashank Ketkar, Rohini Hattangadi, and Supriya Pathare, the actress made her presence felt. Her stunning chemistry with her co-star Shashank became the talking point of the show. Tejashri’s performance also received widespread acclaim and won her many awards. This was the turning point of her career as she became a household name following the success of the show.

2. Exploring filmy frontiers

After establishing herself as an accomplished actress on TV, Tejashri started exploring films. She made her silver screen debut with Avdhoot Gupte’s Zenda in 2010. The actress didn’t look back hereafter and appeared in films like Lagna Pahave Karun, Sharyat, Dr. Prakash Baba Amte- The Real Hero, and Hajiri. 3. Bollywood calling

Following her stint in Marathi films and TV shows, the beauty was approached for a Hindi play named Main Aur Tum. The actress got to romance Sharman Joshi who was also the producer and the director of the play. With this, Tejashri gained the attention of B-Town and was later presented with an opportunity to work in a big-budget Bollywood film. She was cast opposite Sharman in Babloo Bachelor which is scheduled to release in 2020.

4. Smashing comeback on TV

After a long break, Tejashri made a comeback on TV with Agga Bai Sasubai. She has been instrumental for a much-needed change on television as her character has been viewed as one of the most progressive women of recent times. The actress plays Shubhra in this show who is the only one in the family to encourage and support her widowed mother-in-law Asawari’s remarriage.
