First Prasad From Ram Temple Bhumi Pujan Given To Dalit Family By Yogi Adityanath
The family of Mahaveer was happy to receive the first prasad from the bhumi pujan of the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
India and the world are rejoicing the successful conclusion of the historic foundation stone laying ceremony (bhumi Pujan) in Ayodhya, which took place on 5 August.
On the completion of the bhumi pujan, the first ‘Prasad’ was sent to a Dalit family by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath. It is also known that the CM had earlier dined with the same family in their home.
The Mahaveer household was elated to receive the first box of the holy sweets from the event. The family, who are big devotees of Lord Ram, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM and the Ram Mandir Trust, for this noble gesture.
Mahaveer is also a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, an initiative under which the Indian government provides affordable housing to the urban poor.
It is interesting that the first invitation of the Bhumi Pujan was sent out to Iqbal Ansari, who was a litigant for the Muslim side in the Ayodhya land dispute case. It is also known that in the shilanyas (foundation ceremony) conducted by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on 9 November, 1989, the first brick was laid by Kameshwar Choupal, a Dalit legislator from Bihar.
According to popular belief, in his Ram Rajya, Lord Ram treated everyone with equal respect. The Modi government seems to be deriving inspiration from the teachings of the revered God.
