The Government of India has allowed domestic flights to resume from May 25. Considering the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Airport Authority of India has set some rules for the passengers. Check-in shall only be done through web services. Carrying cabin luggage will be prohibited. Every passenger must have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their phones. Masks and hand gloves must be worn compulsorily and a distance of four feet should be strictly maintained. All cabin crew members must wear a PPE kit.
The transportation industry has already suffered huge losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, people are stuck in remote places due to unavailability of transport services. Therefore, this step is taken to reduce further losses and also help people reach their homes safely. The passengers have to strictly follow all the above rules for their own safety and the safety of others.
