Dessert Recipe: Shubhunagi’s Love For Desserts


Do you prefer desserts over people? Well, then you truly belong to our category. Recently, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre caught our attention when she shared how much she loves desserts. Our beloved Angoori Bhabi made Shahi Tukda and her fans reacted to it with suggestions and appreciating the actress’s culinary skills.

After looking at this picture we were delighted to taste some heaven on earth and that is why today we bring you a few quick desserts recipes that you can try in your kitchen.

Let’s get started with the recipe which got us tempted. Shahi Tukda.

To make this recipe, you will need:

  • 6 Bread slices
  • 5 cups Milk
  • Ghee
  • 2 tbsp dry fruits chopped
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • Silver garnish paper


  • Cut the crust of the bread and cut them into a round shape.
  • Take kadai and heat ghee in it for shallow frying.
  • Shallow fry the bread slices from both the sides.
  • Drain the excess oil using absorbent paper.
  • Meanwhile, take another kadai and boil milk for ten minutes. Keep stirring.
  • Add sugar and stir for more five minutes.
  • Move the milk to a bowl and let it cool down.
  • Once done, place the bread slices on a serving dish and pour chilled milk on the top.
  • Garnish it with dry fruits and silver paper and serve it chilled.

Dessert Recipe: Dry Fruit & Pudding Cake


To make this recipe you will need:

  • 1/2 cup canned cherries.
  • 3-4 prunes.
  • 1 cup of almonds.
  • 4 slices of bread.
  • 1 tbsp brandy.
  • 1 cup of cherry juice.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1 cup cream.
  • 3 tbsp sugar.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder.

For sauce:

  • 2 tbsp cherry jam.
  • 10 fresh cherries.


  • Cut the crust of the bread slices and add them in a bowl.
  • Pour brandy and 2 tbsp cherry juice on it and set aside.
  • Take another bowl and mix egg, cream and sugar.
  • Add canned cherries and prunes in the mix.
  • Also add the brandy-soaked bread slices, almonds and cinnamon powder and mix well.
  • Add this mixture to a microwave container and cook it in the microwave for five minutes.
  • To make the sauce, take cherry jam, cherry juice, fresh cherries in a pan and cook for five munites.
  • Pour the sauce over the pudding and serve it warm.

Dessert Recipe: Chocolate Orange Cake


To make this recipe, you will need:

  • 175 grams dark chocolate
  • 5 tbsp refined flour
  • orange rind
  • 225 grams castor sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams of yoghurt
  • 275 grams of refined flour (maida)
  • 1 tsp soda bicarbonate


  • Preheat the oven at 190 degrees.
  • Take a cake tray and grease it with oil.
  • Take a bowl and add castor sugar and butter and mix it well.
  • Add the egg yolks, yoghurt, orange juice and orange rind and mix well.
  • Add flour and soda bicarbonate and mix it well. Also, add grated chocolate in the mix.
  • Now pour the batter into the greased tray and bake it in the preheated oven at 190-degree celsius for twenty-five minutes.
  • Once done, move it to a dish and let it cool down.
  • Cut the slice and serve.

Dessert Recipe: Strawberry Basoondi


To make this recipe you will need:

  • 7 cups of milk
  • 20 strawberries
  • 10 almonds peeled and cut into slivers
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seed


  • Take half of the strawberries and cut them into half. Make a puree of the remaining strawberries.
  • Take a pan and heat milk in it till it reduces to half of its quantity.
  • Add sugar, sunflower seeds, almonds and mix.
  • Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  • Once done, add strawberry puree and mix it well.
  • Garnish it with chopped strawberries and serve.

Dessert Recipe: Chocolate Kulfi


To make this recipe, you will need:

  • 1/2 cup grated chocolate
  • 1/2 condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup khawa
  • 1-litre milk


  • Take a saucepan and boil milk in it. Keep stirring till it gets reduced to one-third of its quantity.
  • Next, add khawa and condensed milk and reduce it further for five minutes.
  • Turn off the flames and add grated chocolate. Make sure to keep aside some for garnishing.
  • When the mixture cools down, move it into kulfi moulds.
  • Sprinkle the remaining grated chocolate on the top and close the mould.
  • Keep the moulds in the deep freezer till it gets set.
  • Once done, serve it immediately.
