Dheeraj Dhoopar Quits Dance India Dance 7: It Got Physically And Mentally Draining
Kundali Bhagya actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, who was all set to host Dance India Dance 7, has opted out of the Zee TV reality show – exclusive quote inside.
Kundali Bhagya actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, who was all set to host Dance India Dance 7, has quit the Zee TV dance reality show. Dheeraj plays the lead role of Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya, which airs on the same channel and found it difficult to manage his time between the two shows. Last month, Dheeraj had launched Dance India Dance 7: Battle of the Champions along with judges Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bosco Martis and Raftaar. He had even expressed his excitement to share the stage with Kareena, but opted out days before the show goes on air.
The channel has confirmed Dheeraj’s exit from the show. The television star cited time issues and said that the long working hours were taking a toll on his physical and mental health. “Hosting is something that I always wanted to do and I enjoy it thoroughly. Dance India Dance is something that I was looking up to but being a new show with the new format it got very draining for me physically and mentally. And I felt that I needed to focus on my other commitments. Hence I have decided to move on from the show. We mutually discussed the best way ahead. It also gives me a chance to pursue a few other things that I had planned,” Dheeraj clarified.
