Iran, which is currently battling with the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic is continuously experiencing an increase in cases. According to the news reports, a recent apparent rise in the number of children infected with the novel Coronavirus has been worrying parents. Reports also state the rate of fatality has also spiked in Iran. So far, 25000 people have succumbed to the virus. To curb the spread of this dangerous virus, the country is preparing to impose new Coronavirus restrictions and safety measures. Moreover, as a preventive measure, some parents have decided not to send their kids to school.

The government authorities have not yet released the official number of infected children. However, sources claim the number is far greater than expected. It is also said that the health infrastructure in Iran is under stressful situation and the government is taking all possible steps to create proper provisions.
