The COVID-19 cases in India are spiking  each day. The states of Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu are among the worst affected. According to the latest reports, in the last 24 hours, around 2,889 new cases have been found and 65 people have lost their lives due to the virus in Delhi. The number of COVID-19 containment zones in the capital has risen to 421 after re-mapping of such areas, with an increase of 141 in the last two days, as the cases mounted to over 83,000 on Sunday.

So far, 2,623 have died due to the COVID-19 virus in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he took full responsibility for the increase in cases and also assured the public that the infection rate would be brought under control. The State and the Central government are working unitedly and are taking all the necessary measures to stop the rising cases in the national capital.
