Coronavirus Pandemic May Worsen If Countries Do Not Take Proper Precautions, Warns WHO

World Health Organisation Director-general said that the current situation may become worse if adequate safety measures are not followed.

The Coronavirus pandemic is taking a toll on the world. So far, lakhs of people have succumbed to the virus and  cases are seeing a new spike every day. Amid all these tensions, the World Health Organisation in its latest media briefing has warned that there will be no return to what we call the old normal for the foreseeable future as too many countries are headed in the wrong direction in dealing with the ongoing pandemic. WHO even criticised various nations for their improper approach towards the measures taken against the spread of the virus.

World Health Organisation Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that there will no return to a normal scenario from this pandemic situation and conditions may worsen further if all countries do not undertake proper measures in stopping the spread of the virus.
