Chants Of Jai Shree Ram At New York’s Times Square
New York’s Times Square was lit up with a 3D billboard of the Ram Temple, with people chanting Jai Shree Ram
The foundation stone of the Ram Temple, laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ayodhya yesterday, was celebrated by India and the rest of the world.
A large gathering in New York, United States of America, was seen celebrating this landmark event. The crowd, also comprising the Indian diaspora, came together near a digital billboard of Ram Mandir at the popular Times Square. The 3D billboard displayed the proposed model of the place of worship.
People could be seen holding ‘Jai Shree Ram’ placards and chanting the revered God’s name. Bhajans and hymns were also sung by the devotees, who were seen rejoicing the official commencement of the Ram Temple construction.
The historic event in India was carried out after months of preparation and was attended by several politicians and dignitaries. As the part of the bhumi pujan (stone laying ritual), the PM laid a first silver brick, marking the beginning of the famous temple’s resurrection.
