Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Calls It “A Little Flu”
Brazil President considers his own Coronavirus diagnosis merely as “a little flu”. He is also against the idea of wearing a mask in public places.
So far, COVID-19 has infected thousands of people in Brazil and now the country stands to be the second most affected in the world. Amid all this, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro who had tested positive for the Coronavirus has been considering it as “a little flu” for the longest time. He took his fourth test on Monday after developing symptoms. Even though he experienced symptoms for COVID-19, he did not follow any social distancing norms. He also told his supporters that he had undergone an X-ray of his lungs and it showed “they were clean”.
Jair Bolsonaro has also issued new guidelines pertaining to wearing a mask and other safety measures. As the President is totally against wearing a mask, he stated that it is not at all mandatory to wear a mask in public areas.
