Men age like fine wine, they say! Looking at birthday boy Vishnu Manchu we believe it too. He started his career at the age of 22 and went on to bag many awards. It took some time but success came his way with a full swing in five years. And since 2007, there has been no looking back. He has delivered hits after hits and has given some highly- entertaining films to us. But he isn’t limited to that.

Watch his film here:

Apart from acting, Vishnu has also been a director. Not only the 70mm world, but he has also ventured out to explore the television industry. He directed the 700th episode of the long-running Zee Telugu show, Happy Days. The last episode went on to gain the rank highest on the TRP charts. Need we say more? Later, he helmed his elder sister, Lakshmi Manchu‘s talk show titled Prematho Mee Lakshmi.

24 frames factory

In the same year as his breakthrough hit movie, Dhee, Vishnu founded the film production company 24 frames factory. The company is his brainchild and has produced almost 11 projects since its establishment. If the rumours mills to be believed, the next film produced by this company is titled Kannappa Katha. It is said to be directed by the noted actor Tanikella Bharani and will star Vishnu.

Around the same time, Vishnu also set up another organisation, ThinkSmart. It instantly got the chatter going on with its talent and capacity. ThinkSmart is an animation and VFX studio which provides design and special graphics for movies from all industries. Not only that but in 2006, the actor-CEO announced two courses. They were designed to provide students with fast-track learning and also promised world-class education, hands-on experience as well as placements.

Futuristic Educationalist

Initially, Vishnu explored the educational world by looking after his father, veteran actor, Mohan Babu’s Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions. Later, they integrated an international school, college, engineering college, pharmacy college, nursing, management institution and a post-graduate college under the same trust.

He also founded the chain of pre-schools and schools under the name of Spring Board Academy to provide students with value-based education across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha and Maharashtra. Recently, along with his wife Viranca, they started a branch of the New York Academy in Hyderabad to bring in world-class education home.

Army Green

Along with the help of his many students, the multi-faceted actor has initiated a movement named Army Green which aims at spreading environmental awareness. This bunch of young environmental enthusiasts have adopted small settlements around their trust, Sree Vidyanikethan Education Institutions too.

Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation

In the religious land of Tirupati, Vishnu set up the Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation. Although it sounds like an art gallery, the space has been developed to provide more exposure, comfort and facilities to special artists – without them having to worry about the financial pressures.

Who needs a superman wearing a red cape when he is walking around us, as one of us. The actor’s humility and dedication to work are his biggest virtues. On his birthday, let’s take a bow and thank him for making tomorrow brighter.

Indulge in some entertainment by watching his film, Achari America Yatri on ZEE5.
