Ayodhya To Turn Into Vedic Ramayana City For Bhoomi Pujan
Home Minister Amit Shah, who recently tested positive for the coronavirus will not be attending the event.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma today, said that Ayodhya is all set to turn into a Vedic Ramayana city for the Ram Temple bhoomi pujan celebrations on August 5. Sharma also recounted all the provisions that have been made keeping in mind the large crowds that are expected to gather for the event tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be laying the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, while many other dignitaries are expected to attend as well
Someone who will not be attending is Home Minister Amit Shah, who recently tested positive for the coronavirus. Along with him, Former Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani, Dr Murali Manohar Joshi and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will also be absent from the gathering. The three were the faces of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement of the 1980s and 1990s, which eventually led to the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992. It is on this site that the Ram Temple will be built in the coming years.
