Article 370 Will Be Restored Only With China’s Support, Says Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah
The CM also said that they will fight until Article 370 is restored in the valley.
On Sunday, October 11 former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah continued to criticise Central government’s decision of nullifying Article 370 which conferred special status on Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah blamed the Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370 for the Chinese territorial aggression at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh and other areas. The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said that none of the people in the state are ready to accept Central Government’s decision and they will continue to oppose it. Further, he said that Article 370 will be restored only with China’s support. Abdullah also blamed PM Modi for the ongoing border disputes. After this statement, the BJP slammed Abdullah.
The CM also said that they will fight until Article 370 is restored in the valley. Last year on August 5, nearly all of Kashmir’s mainstream political leaders were detained before the government nullified Article 370 and bifurcated the state into two union territories.
