Appa’s love for the Indian culture and the Marathi language is well known in Almost Sufal Sampoorna. To add on to that, we have seen Appa renounce the use of technology and made sure his whole family doesn’t use it too. So, while you are scrolling on your Instagram, the Ketkar family will busy catching up on reading and spending time with each other. To us, it was seeming like a pretty good deal up until lack of mobile phone created confusion in the Ketkar family.

Recently, we saw Appa and Kaku deliver Diwali faral late to their shop where Sai’s father and a customer were waiting for them. Sai’s father was left embarrassed as they didn’t have the order ready on time. As he called on the landline, Sai’s mother told him that Appa and Kaku had already left. After Appa reached late with the customer’s order, Sai’s father admitted that this confusion would have been averted if they would carry a mobile phone with them. Appa, being typically himself, created a ruckus by announcing that they are not going to use modern technology. Although we understand, there are cons to having a mobile phone, Appa should realise that mobile is a necessity. As the world is moving ahead, will it beneficial for them to be stuck in the old era?
On the other hand, Nachiket quickly saved Ajji and the other ladies from Appa’s wrath by ordering pohe through mobile. He showed to them mobile can used to one’s advantages.
