After the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished portions of actor Kangana Ranaut’s office in Mumbai’s Bandra, the civic body has now issued a notice to her regarding the “illegal construction” at her home in Khar. As per reports, there are apparently more irregularities at her home than there were in her office. Ranaut supposedly owns three flats in the building in question and resides in the one that’s on the fifth floor. She has been engaged in a war of words with the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra Government for the past few weeks now.

The whole thing began when Ranaut compared being in Mumbai to being in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. She received a lot of flak for her statement but stood by it. The BMC, which is led by Shiv Sena corporators, issued a notice to her regarding the “illegal construction” at her Bandra office and arrived to demolish it a day later. The actor then went on to lay heavy criticism on Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray.
