Aamir Khan’s Staff Tests Positive For COVID-19
BMC takes prompt action to quarantine the actor’s staff and sanitise the building after they tested positive of COVID-19
A few members of Aamir Khan’s staff have tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai. The actor revealed through Twitter that they were immediately quarantined, and also said that officials from the BMC were “prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. Aamir also said that the rest of his staff, including himself, has tested negative for the coronavirus. He mentioned in his tweet that he was taking his mother to get tested as well, and asked his followers to pray for her. The actor issued a note of thanks to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the facility.
Mumbai is among the worst affected areas in the country when it comes to the rapid spread of COVID-19. The BMC has been imposing strict unlocking measures across the city. On Monday, as many as 7680 vehicles were impounded by the Mumbai police for violating unlocking rules.
