Zee Marathi’s popular family drama Agga Bai Sasubai revolves around the life of Abhijeet and Asawari. While the former is a celebrity chef who owns a restaurant, the latter is a homemaker. One way to get through a man’s heart is through his stomach, and Asawari did the same, really well. She cooked delicious recipes, which appealed to her beloved Abhijeet. Even after their marriage, Abhijeet makes it a point to have breakfast at his own house before leaving for work. Even though he owns a restaurant, Abhijeet is committed to Asawari’s food. She is often seen preparing delicacies for her husband. Some episodes earlier, Asawari made a tempting Sheera for him. The latter ate it in one go and praised her culinary skills.

If you are fasting, you can try a similar recipe of varichya tandalacha sheera from the show Aamhi Saare Khavayye.

This ekadashi special recipe of varichya tandalacha sheera is a lip-smacking dish. To get going, you just need to gather the following ingredients.

  1. 1 cup of hot milk
  2. 1 bowl full of variche tandul
  3. Sugar to taste
  4. 1 bowl of pineapple slices
  5. 1 bowl of raisins
  6. 1 bowl of almond slices
  7. 2 teaspoons ghee

Once you have gathered all these items from the above list of ingredients, you are good to go! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Heat a frying pan with ghee
  2. Pour the bowl of variche tandul and roast them properly
  3. Add the cup full of hot milk in this mixture.
  4. Add sugar to this mixture and make sheera out of it
  5. Mix pineapple slices, raisins and almond slices in this sheera
  6. Garnish it and serve hot
