Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, starring Venkatesh and Trisha in the lead roles, is a superhit family drama and romantic flick that continues to entertain us each time we watch it. The 2007 film introduced us to a new type of music that should make its way back to your playlist.

The film doesn’t take too long to tell a tale through music. The first song, which we come across in the first 15 minutes, is Emaindhi Eevela. The lyrics take you on the journey of falling in love. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the composer, has set a score so perfect and timeless, it continues to mesmerise us each time.

Yuvan’s magic continues with Naa Manasuki and Kartik, the singer, adds an extra touch of pain to the song. This song comes in when Venkatesh is trying hard to control his feelings for Trisha. He daydreams in the visuals as Kartik and Yuvan fill in the audio with a perfect symphony.

Featuring the ever-hot Mumaith Khan, the song O Baby O Baby is has modern beats, contemporary chorus and Telugu verses that make it an eclectic mix that not only sounds wonderful but also moves you emotionally.

What happens when you leave a drunk Indian at an Australian pub? The answer lies in the song. Bollywood’s star singer Adnan Sami and rockstar Anushka Manchanda have lent their voice to this song. Inclining perfectly towards the situation, the lyrics of the song are relatable and fun.

5. Allantha Doorala

Iconic singer SP Balasubramanium could be talking and would still sound perfectly melodious to our eyes. The climax features the song Allantha Doorala, sung by him, in the background as Venkatesh quits his chase and tries to be happy in the situation. The lyrics and gestures shown in the song subtly talk about beauty and love while Balasubramanium’s voice adds five more stars to the situation.
