For all the folks who have tried to consume content in other languages, but did not find their peace, this one is for you. Now, you can make the most of your lockdown and watch these wholesome pieces of entertainment in Telugu.

First, we have the critically and commercially acclaimed Kaafir, starring Dia Mirza and Mohit Raina. The story, written by Bhavani Iyer, is about a Pakistani woman, named Kainaaz Akhtar. Due to false accusations of terrorism, Kainaaz finds herself jailed in India. However, a wise and kind lawyer-turned-journalist decides to run the extra mile, ensuring Kainaaz goes back home safely.


Bhram is the story of a popular romantic-novelist, Alisha Khanna. Directed by Sangeeth Sivan this ZEE5 original stars Kalki Koechlin as a protagonist who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and traverses all kinds of extremes (paranormal, mythical, psychological) in order to unearth a long-forgotten truth.  Things start going south when she finds herself unable to differentiate between reality and illusion. The show is a psychological thriller that received rave reviews and also features Bhumika Chawla, Sanjay Suri, Eijaz Khan, Chandan Roy Sanyal amongst others in important roles.


The ZEE5 and Alt Balaji show, MOM – Mission Over Mars, is inspired by true events. The show focuses on the lives of women who helped India send Mangalyaan, India’s first space probe orbiting Mars. Through the course of the show, we explore the women and the many layers with which they traverse life.


Mentalhood marks Karisma Kapoor’s much-awaited comeback and digital debut. This is an interesting watch which focuses on the lives of mothers and the many struggles that they go through, to keep the world around them sane and happy. The show also takes a dive into the emotions and situations that most of turn a blind eye to.

State Of Siege 26/11

Acclaimed Defence writer Sandeep Unnithan’s book Black Tornado has been picturised beautifully in the ZEE5 original State Of Siege 26/11. As the title suggests, the show showcases the events that unfolded on November 26, 2008, in Mumbai.
