1. Ram Pothineni as Surya

Like it or hate it, but you cannot ignore it. Nothing delights us more than a good masala entertainer does. Ram Pothineni and Rashi Khanna’s 2016 film Hyper is exactly what we need after a long tiring day for rejuvenation. We list six reasons why you must re-watch the film.

It features the man himself, Ram Pothineni. He is smart, dashing, confident, stylish and all sorts of amazing. Watching him on the screen easily qualifies as a treat. In Hyper, he will surprise you with how amazing being hyper feels in a world where everyone wants to be low-key.

2. Rashi Khanna and Ram Pothineni's on-screen magic

Ram and Rashi have created a niche for themselves in Tollywood for quite some time now. Their coming together is what we would like to call a double dhamaka! While their chemistry is interesting enough, it is their story arc that makes us go gaga over them. Ever seen a nerdy girl chase a stud boy for love? Well, that’s Hyper for you.

3. Enviable dance moves

We all know how good a dancer Ram is. Yet Hyper takes his dancing skills a few notches higher. The actor’s ease and effortless style really put all the dancers out there to shame. Or even better, he might inspire people to get up and brush up on their skills.

4. The hero-villian relationship

Heroes are supposed to hate villains and villains, in turn, are supposed to scare everyone. Well, that has been the norm for a long, long time. Hyper takes a little detour and makes the villain Gaja, played by Murli Sharma, befriend the hero, Surya. Despite being friends, how do they become enemies, your answer lies in ‘watching the film!’

5. A lesson to learn

In this Telugu film, veteran actor Sathyaraj plays the role of a government employee who is a few days away from retiring with a clean slate. Multiple attempts are made at ruining his image by bribing and threatening, yet nothing moves him. He teaches us that standing for the right thing always is stronger than falling for the wrong things.

6. Best father-son relationship on-screen

You may have seen fathers and sons who love each other or who cannot stand each other, and even father-sons who are BFFs. But the case here a tad bit different. Surya doesn’t just love his father, but is actally “crazy” for his father, as he likes to put it. Hyper traces the journey of how this father’s boy lives life to make only one person happy.
