Bula! Said Ileana D’Cruz to Fiji. After scrolling, and then scrolling some more through photos from her vacay in this beautiful beach paradise in south Pacific Ocean, we are dying to say Bula (hello) to Fiji too. Says the Aata star in her Instagram post: “Everyone keeps asking me what is it about Fiji that I love so much!” She goes on to list a few of her favourite things in Fiji. Curious to know what they are? Here’s what Ileana has to say: “So here you go, these are a few of my favourite (Fiji) things 😉 🐠 Making new friends! ☕ Chilling with the locals, enjoying Kava 🤗 Enjoying warm bear hugs from these adorable little munchkins 🌅 Drinking in the colours of the Fijian sunset”. Apart from the breathtaking beauty of its virgin beaches, here are a few things that will make you add Fiji to your bucket list.

Take a look at life under water like the beautiful Ileana. The Great White Wall, which is home to the famous Rainbow Reef can be your diving spot if you want to get mesmerised by the corals. To get up, close and personal with manta rays and sea turtles, scuba dive into the sea in the Great Astrolabe Reef, which is one of the world’s largest barrier reefs. Up for an adventure? Swim with experienced Fijian divers as they feed the local sharks at Beqa Lagoon.

Hang out with the locals

Fijians are warm and friendly people. And they just love visitors. How about you travel to a Fijian village to see first-hand their traditional way of living like the pretty actor? Get set to get entertained and be witness to a lot of ceremonies as these are a part of their lives. See how much fun Ileana is having with the local kids?

Go snorkelling

If you are among the ones who just can’t get enough of the sea, just take a deep breath and go underwater. Snorkel in the warm, clear waters of the Pacific Ocean and get bewitched by the coral reefs and the rich marine life.

Try kava, the traditional drink

When you are in Fiji, the locals will always greet you with kava, a drink prepared by pounding kava root. It’s a lot like water, just slightly bitter and powdery. A kava ceremony includes participants sitting in a circle while the host prepares the drink. The eldest male in the group gets to drink first in one shot and then it is given to the other members of the group.

Indulge in water sports

A beach holiday always gets all the more exciting if there are options for water sports around. While in Fiji, you can always try your hands at surfing, or go kayaking like Ileana did. Grab a friend along and enjoy the ride,
