2. Cast

The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan which is why the film was much awaited amongst the audience. Sushant has really nailed his performance with the portrayal of a simpleton as he trained himself with the real pitthoos. Talking about the star kid Sara, she left everyone awestruck with her lively performance and an out-an-out portrayal of Mukku who is a Hindu girl who loves to live her life by her own choice.

3. Concept

The concept of caste differences is often a debated topic in a country like India, but on the other side, it also receives maximum box office collection. Kedarnath is based on the similar concept of a girl and a boy from different religions falling in love. The story is backed up by the powerful incident of the Uttarakhand floods which adds a different flavour to the film.

4. Songs

Arijit Singh and Amit Trivedi are the men of the hour and its rare to have a movie without their soulful voices. With Kedarnath, both the singers soothe your ears with their voice that touches your souls. Songs like Qaafirana and Namo Namo are our personal favourites. Let us which one is your favourite in the comments section below.

5. Based On True Events

We love movies which have the tag of “Based On True Events,” be it a life story or a horror one. It works well with the Bollywood. Kedarnath, as the title suggests, revolves around the Uttarakhand floods, runs in parallel with the love story of Mukku and Mansoor. The makers also made sure that the effects should be as perfect as possible as the audience would be keen to know what exactly happened.
