Built in 1357, this bridge boasts interesting statues which deserve your and your camera’s attention. Overlooking the River Vltava, Charles Bridge should be visited especially during the twilight hour or the night time!

2. St. Vitus Cathedral

A massive structure of St. Vitus Cathedral reserves the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. It has tombs of the saints along with Bohemia’s Kings. The striking stain glass windows and mosaic designs are worth every penny you’ve spent getting here.
Fun fact: Started to build in 1344, this place took 525 years to fully complete.

3. Wenceslas Square

A visit to Wenceslas Square is a must if you are a fan of museums. The best time of the year would be to visit during Christmas when the whole place is lit up. Just like ones above, the birth of Wenceslas Square dates back to the 14th century. The absolutely impressive architecture here was built during the reign of King Charles IV.

4. Prague Castle

There nothing like a beautiful castle to remind us that fairytales exist so do the happily ever after. Currently, home to Czech President, once upon a time the Prague Castle sheltered the Bohemian Royalty. While you are here, take a stroll in the garden which was built way back in 1534. Apart from this, the castle walls also houses St. Vitus Cathedral, the Golden Lane, the Powder Tower among others.

5. National Gallery

Whether or not you are an art lover, a visit to the astounding the National Gallery of Prague is mandatory. Apart from having collections from Monet and Picasso, this gallery protects the artworks of the local artists of the country along with European creators of the bygone era.
