ZEE5’s October 2020 Lineup Is Raring To Entertain You With It’s Star-Studded Stories

Meet the cast and crew of upcoming of releases and get ready for a fun-filled month in October 2020.

ZEE5 continues to entertain you during the lockdown. The comedy web series Bhalla Calling Bhalla was shot entirely at home during the lockdown, and we witnessed film premieres of Chintu Ka Birthday, Ghoomketu as well as Bamfaad. In October 2020 we will be seeing series and films that have been made once the lockdown restrictions had been eased and shooting had begun. Hosted by Rohit Khilnani, the October 2020 edition of ‘Next Up On ZEE5’ will tell you what to expect in the new films and series as well as how shooting post-lockdown was for actors including Saqib Saleem, Shweta Basu Prasad, Raai Laxmi and Sneha Ullal .

First up was the cast of the romantic thriller series Expiry Date. Sneha Ullal and Ali Reza were present from the cast which also includes Tony Luke and Madhushalini. They spoke about how the series is darker and bolder than anything they were used to and how excited they were to see it release in both Hindi and Telugu on 2 October 2o20.

Madhia Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan stars from the upcoming Zindagi Original series ‘Ek Jhoothi Love Story‘ along with director Mehreen Jabbar. They spoke about how the success of Churails opened new doors for content across borders and hope it is widely appreciated after releasing on 30 October 2020.

Next up were Shweta Basu Prasad and Saqib Saleem, who struck quite the friendship on the sets of Comedy Couple. They talk about playing the role of a romantic couple and stand-up comedians in this new-age ‘com-rom’. Saqib remembers how his character in this series is very different from his popular series Rangbaaz and hopes audiences will love this film on its release on 21 October 2020.

Lastly the cast of Poison 2 including Raai Laxmi, Pooja Chopra, Asmita Sood, Sakshi Pradhan and Zain Imam spoke about their respective roles in the new season. They also explained how it felt shooting just after the lockdown restrictions were lifted. They were confident that audiences will not be able to stop themselves from binge-watching Poison 2 once it releases on 16 October 2020.
